Espresso El Boxeador

Powerful in character, precise in balance. Just like a good boxer, El Boxeador combines strength, control and elegance. This espresso is more than just our new house espresso – it stands for our passion for specialty coffee and our close connection to boxing. Honest, expressive and uncompromising in quality, it accompanies us day after day at the bar and in every cup.

The beans come from Siltepec in the Mexican state of Chiapas, a high-altitude region of the Sierra Madre on the edge of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The humid microclimate, fertile soils and shaded growing conditions create ideal conditions for high-quality specialty coffee. This coffee is grown by a group of dedicated smallholders who are part of the NKG BLOOM initiative. After careful hand-picking, the coffee cherries are pulped, fermented, washed and then gently dried in the sun.

Flavor profile

El Boxeador impresses with a harmonious combination of chocolate, nuts and caramel, accompanied by delicate notes of stone fruit, grapefruit and vanilla. Its creamy body, balanced sweetness and lively yet well-integrated acidity make it the perfect companion – as a bold espresso just as much as in a cappuccino or flat white.
