Indonesia Agosmaya

This microlot comes from the Asman Gayo Mill in the Pegasing district of the famous coffee-growing region of Aceh in northern Sumatra. Run by Cup of Excellence winner Asman Arianto, the processing station works with numerous smallholders from the villages around Pantan Musara. After many producers lost their homes and farmland in a natural disaster, they rebuilt their farms with a new focus on high-quality specialty coffee. Today, the Asman Gayo Mill is one of the few processing stations in Sumatra that produce high-quality natural microlots alongside washed coffees.

Flavor profile

In the cup, this natural shows aromas of cocoa, dried cranberry, almond and dried grapefruit. A delicate wine-like acidity provides structure and gives the coffee a balanced, long-lasting finish.
